Our role is to assist our pastor. We serve as a link between the parish and faithful Catholics who are no longer able to attend Mass. The people we visit are hungry for Our Lord. In some cases, we are their only visitors. They feel blessed that someone cares enough to bring them the Eucharist and appreciate our visits. However, you will find we are the ones who are truly blessed. We visit and provide them with the type of Communion appropriate to their situation. Most receive both prayer and the Eucharistic Jesus.
For some, we can only pray with them. For more information, call the parish office at 361-241-3249.
